[78-L] V-Disc - Vinyls/Shellacs.

Hi!

Speaking of vinyl 78s, as we were, I suppose that thew first time 
that these were on sale regularly would be V-Discs. I generally find 
that MOST of them are made of vinyl BUT, as you will know, there are 
also shellac V-Discs.

Were shellacs pressed first? Did they return to shellac? Did they 
make them of anything available during the War? What's the story? 
Does anyone know?
