The funny side kick of a fat kid has been a tradition in , early TV and Movies and comics. The little rascals had Chubby Cheney (sometimes known as Chubsie Ubsie to his secret love Miss Crabtree, then after Chubby was beloved Fat little Spanky McFarland to laugh at along with his not a plump little friend Porky. In the comics, Little LuLu's little fat boy rival was of course Tubby, so it makes since that Jeff's rotund buddy was named Porky.

(Joey D. Vieira as "Donald Keeler") " . A nephew of Ruby Keeler, and still 
breathing.

I'm sure you're aware that Tommy Rettig, (who was a year older than me), 
has also died. I met him once at the CNE grandstand when he, Lassie and the 
other boy on the series then, (an overweight kid whose name I've forgotten - 
the name "Porky" comes to mind but I don't think they would have used such a 
politically improper name even in the 50s), were performing at the CNE.
