Thanks for all the responses to my Shaw query (which, by the way, is to be
used for a Mosaic boxed set of Shaw and I'll be glad to mention all who
helped in the liner notes). I have some more questions, but to recap, it
looks like the sides were scheduled for release on RCA Victor, possibly for
a Gershwin album, but never issued.
So along with new info from the 78-l group and Vladimir Simosko's Artie
Shaw: A Musical Biography and Discography (published by Scarecrow Press in
2000) here's what I've come up with (with only the initial release listed).
Rust only goes to 1942, Jepsen lists what's been stated here and Lord pretty
much copies all the same info.

D5VC 1091-2 Summertime RCA Vic LPM 1648 (LP)

The French LP came out in 1979 - the US Bluebird issue (5579) came out in
1981.
Also, out of curiosity, which take of "Summertime" came out on V-Disc 731A
and RCA Victor EPA 599? The alternate -2 has a prominent guitar intro by
Barney Kessel.

"Ceiling" scheduled for 20-1745. Lord lists RCA Victor 947-0216.
What is this?
Don't see a listing of "Started" with 20-1745, but this did
come out on 78.

Hollywood, July 30, 1945
D5VB 1047-2 But Not For Me unissued - test pressing exists

And my last question is what tracks appeared on AFRS P-516 and P-1117?
Thanks !!
