That's a new one for me.I never heard of those sides before and I have a few of those 1945
Victors in my collection.I do have a CD of those sides from that year. What does Rust and
the Jepsen Jazz Discographies have to say about the matter? Were those sides ever cut
for the transcriptions from that era?I would be curious in knowing if that is true or not.

Hey Scott,
Y'know, there are many 1945 Shaw Victors that were supposedly issued but I
have never seen - I wonder if some of them were cancelled before issue?

Hi all
Does anyone out there have Victor 20-1745? Most reference works site "Love
Walked In" coupled with "But Not For Me", however, some discographies list
"Dancing On The Ceiling" as being issued with this catalog number. Both
Vladimir Simosko (the compiler of the Artie Shaw discography) and the
Bluebird LP re-issue AXM2-5580 claim RCA Victor LPT 1020 (the album titled
"My Concerto") as the first release of "Ceiling", yet that album does not
state that this track is previously unreleased.
Can anyone help?
Thanks
Scott Wenzel
