I always preferred the Blue Water Bridge anyway..cost less (I don't know if 
they've evened that up) and saved me at least a half hour. Everything I wanted 
to do in Detroit was north of 8 Mile Road.

Not OT since I used to do lots of record hunting in Detroit..the place dried up 
years ago.

In recent years, I have, whenever possible, used the ferry from Sombra Ontario to Marine city Michigan.  The cost, at least the last time I used it, was $6.00, US or CAN funds.  I've never seen a line up there and since there are two ferries running there is very little waiting. Also not OT because in Marine City there is an Antique market where I have found hundreds of good 78s.
