There's a cute moment on Hal Kemp's recording of "Johnny One-Note," which is
sung by drummer Skinnay Ennis.  The lyric points out various sections of the
band, followed by a break where that section or instrument is heard:

"Couldn't hear the brass...." (the brass section roars)
"Couldn't hear the drums...." (Skinnay whispers, "There ain't no drums!,"
since he's at the mike, not behind his drum kit.)
