I'm pretty sure these were made in the U.S. for the Japanese and
Japanese-American market. I don't ever see any of these in Japan, though
often when you see "Japanese 78" on famous auction sites, you will find this
type of release. As a collector of Japanese comedy records I would love to
hear them, since they are described on the label as "Jazz Manzai" (manzai
being a two-person cross-talk style of comedy--think Abbott and Costello in
Japanese.) I can't read the name of the performers but it seems to have
"Brothers" as its second word. That would be very unusual.
So, did you listen to them?
Pardon me for missing the original posting--I only spotted the response
amidst all the MJ notices.
