The label is Decca, and the venue is the Gaumont State cinema, Kilburn, 
north-west London. I saw Duke Ellington there in 1958. The concert 
started and ended late, so I missed my bus connection home. Because I 
had just had an operation to remove an ingrowing toenail, I hitched a 
ride from a lorry driver who, by coincidence, was involved in the 
construction of the building!
