To be exact, the label says "Lohengrin's Abschied", so yes it should be the "abscheidlied".

Subject: [78-L] Operatic Homokord

After a long absence from record collecting due to health reasons, I went to
my local flea market in Athens and among many interesting records I found
the following item:

Homokord

1st side - 1053 (mx. 15128A) D9T
Lohengrin's Abschlied (R. Wagner)

2nd side - 1057 (mx. 1298A) C27T

Schwanenlied (Lohengrin /R. Wagner)

According to the Homokord code, the recordings took place in 1907.

But the intriguing thing is that instead of the name of the tenor, it gives
3 stars

*** TENOR.

When I saw the record somehow I thought (and hoped...) that it was a Juan
Raventos record (I'm trying to collect all his records) but then it seems
that he hasn't recorded any Wagner.

Any ideas of who the singer might be?

Thanks in advance,

Pavlos Bakoulas
