Folks,
please help me with this puzzle.
I have Eastman ES 106 by Hal Ross & the Mood Makers on which both
songs were written by C. Tebbetts ("Love me, love me" / "Time").
A song called "Love me, love me" was recorded in 1954-sep by the
Chimes [pseud for the Flairs] on Flair Records.
Bennie Bunn & the Cadets (pseud for the Flairs) recorded in
1960-aug for Sherwood Records.
Sherwood Records was owned at the time by Charlie Tebbetts.

Is that a strong enough connection to assume that "Love me, love
me" was written by Charlie Tebbetts?

Also, there was a saxophone player turned hypnotist called Charles
Tebbetts, still venerated in the field of hypnotherapy. His brief bio
says he was also an ad man and a songwriter. Is this the same Charlie
Tebbetts?

Thanks in advance for your help.
