Yup..Freddy Martin, Dingbat The Singing Cat, adapted from Peter and the Wolf. 
Actually this wasn't a bad record at all.

Nearly 20 years ago, I was putting together a Hal Kemp CD for Intersound, and I 
vowed NOT to include the Fwee Widdle Fiddies. My head is still held high (boy, 
that's easy to type but hard to say).
