There is also a Morey Amsterdam in the personnel of the Santa Monica Civic 
Symphony Orchestra, which recorded for Disc in 1947. His dad, possibly?

Probably his last appearance can be found on Disc 1 of "Caroline in the City", 
Season 1. He died before the show aired.
