HI Stephen,

I have Kenney's version of The West A Nest And You on a Canadian HMV Victor
216593 b/w another pretty old-time waltz, Sometime.

Just flipping through the 24 sides of his I own does reveal that he was not
usually given the best tunes to record, and that most of the better tunes
he did record were old standards. But it's still a great dance band to my
ears, despite much of the second-rate material he was given.

I'm surprised that the disc jockey you spoke with said what he said...Honey
On The Moon measures up to most any bouncy sweet band record of the late
30s, even though the song isn't anything to holler about. The Kenney sides
I have are all enjoyable, both fox trots and waltzes.

Taylor
