[78-L] Got a strange "Foreign" record

My auction attendance has turned up something which sounds great, but my
language skills are totally lacking. I bought a few records at an auction
this week and one is in a foreign language, which I would guess to be
Russian, only because some of the letters are backward and that's what
little I know about Russian. It's wonderful sounding 33 1/3 LP, the
music makes me think of Fiddler on the Roof, or something of that ilk,
except more pure. Nothing is in anything which resembles English, it was
in a paper sleeve, red, black and green. The best I can describe the label
name is to type the letters which are closest to my US English
keyboard. M E A O A N R. The third letter is an upside down V, the 5th
letter is like a greek Delta, the N and R at the end are reversed. Is
this enough for anyone to hazard a guess on what I have? There are 6
musical selections on one side, 6 on the other.
The only clue I have to its possible origin is the auction included items
from an estate sale from a resident who was Jewish, lived in New Jersey in
the 60s, and died in northern WVA, where his effects were sold.
