Okeh! "Personal" as a label identity indicates a recording made by
"The Electric Recording Company" (who made ACOUSTIC
recordings, oddly enough!) This outfit MAY have been connected
with a number of 78 labels of the 1924-26 period...including "New
York" and similar labels (mostly apparently of northern-Ohio
artists!). I don't recall Rodeheaver's (the company, NOT the preacher!!)
label name for similar private recordings...?!
Columbia's records were labeled "Personal Recording," and used a
separate matrix series (Columbia created new 6-digit matrix series
whenever "their laundry came back"...?!)!
This is an area which deserves MUCH more discographic exploration!!!

(and there were MORE after WWII...?!)
