Aaron sent this to me off-list but I think that EVERYONE should know!!
The basic info is at www.jazzbash.net . The 35th Annual Jazz Record
Collectors' Bash is two days of sales, get-together, and movie nights
that has been held annually for decades (see the history page on the
site.) This year it is Fri and Sat June 19th & 20th (with a pre-sale
Thurs evening at extra cost) at the Hilton Woodbridge, Iselin NJ, right
off of exit 131A of the Garden State Parkway or a turn-off from State
Route 27, also known as the Lincoln Highway. Travel info is on the site.

Our own Dave Weiner presents the movies on Friday night, and Ron
Hutchinson of the Vitaphone Project shows the goodies on Sat night.
Although it is called a Jazz Bash, there is no Jazz Police at the door
keeping out non-jazz records and collectors. All are welcome and
sometimes the non-jazz items are cheaper!

The photos on the site from last year show a sparse crowd, but it was
taken at a slow moment and is not typical. On the other hand, it is
never uncomfortably mobbed and there is always room for more, although
we sometimes have to steal chairs from the other parts of the hotel to
seat everyone for the movies. Those interested can search the photos to
find Leah and the top of my head in one of them.

We hope to see you all at ARSC next week and then at the Bash.
