Sounds like something worth listening to!!  The band name is pretty interesting too - Perry Bradford's Mean Four. Sounds menacing...
I just picked up a Perry Bradford's Jazz Phools disc on Triangle at an estate sale and it's a real treat.

        Some librarians make a big deal about having patrons browse 
physical books, discs, etc, and then discovering interesting new titles 
sitting beside the title they were looking for.  They use the word 
"serendipity" over and again in their defense against digital
libraries.
        Well, this was a different kind of serendipity.  When looking up 
recordings of Shelton Brooks compositions, I got this hit list.  Read the 
last title, and the condition of the record.
