with 8**** popular-series matrices, which are documented in the "Columbia
Master Book!!" Apparently, the ledgers for the Columbia ethnic series(es)
were destroyed at some point in the past...keep in mind that it has been 
ONLY
in the last couple of decades that anyone cared about "ethnic" discs!

About 20 years ago (+/-) when I was buying gazillions of 78's in and around
Milwaukee (my brother lived in West Allis, and still does!)...I happily 
tossed
MANY German and Polish records aside while looking for discographically-
obscure NYRL issues for research purposes!

One wonders...do the 78 collectors in Hooflungdungistan consider
English-language records "ethnic"...?!

Of course, if our mystic "Hooflunfdungistan" happens to be a hard-core
Islamic land, "records"...in fact, popular music of ANY sort...is/are
infidel concepts, to be eliminated in order that folks can assist with
the restoration of the Caliphate!

Keeping one's wife/ives under control is MUCH more important than
analyzing ancient phonograph records...?!
