It appears that I have 2 label pictures of Co E-7796:
#1) THE SPOILED CORNET SOLO / Laughing Record / Comic - green gold band label
(label also gives International as music description at 9h).
#2) Laughing Record / Comic - green flag label.
88778 is in a common Co mx series, possibly for ethnic recordings? Any info in the Rust Columbia disco?.
[the popular mx series ca. 10/1922 is the 80000 series; see for ex. Johnny Dunn or Ted Lewis, ca. mx 80500/600].
For ex., E-7609 (88426) is by M. & J. Tokarenko (Ukrainian), and E-7911 (89027) is by William Schwartz (Jewish).
E-9030 (88772) is by M. Papagika (Turkish) [rev mx 87427 by M. Steele] and almost preceded the laughing record.
Can someone look up the date for this title in Spotwood's ethnic dg?
Does this laughing record have cornet playing?

Dunno... Was 88778 a foreigner matrix? Steven C. Barr's guide tells us that
US matrix numbers in the standard series jumped from 49999 to 98000, so
88000 must have been recorded elsewhere. Someone has listened to the record?
Any clues to its origins?
The E- record series was intended for the abroad market, wasn't it? Or was
an US home series devoted to foreigner recordings?

Thanks, Inigo - does this mean it was recorded outside the US?

As per Abrams database, we've got this:
RISE SENASTION LAUGHING RECORD
88778 E-7796 - - 10/??/22 =
No notice of the other side.
