Teddy Petersen was a Danish violinist/ bandleader, active from late 1910's
into the 1960's.
At 18 he traveled to the USA and worked as a cinema musician for a few
years.
Back in Denmark he studied at the Copenhagen Conservatory and worked as a
concertmaster in a fashionable restaurant at the Copenhagen Tivoli.
In the early 1920's he formed his own orchestra and played the ballrooms
regularly for more than 20 years before becoming leader of the Danish Radio
light orchestra.
He recorded from the late 1920's.

Here's a picture of the band:

The Danish national sound library only has the year of issue for the
"Bel-Ami" disc (1939).

You can search for more Petersen discs on this Danish website, but their
search engine is terribly blunt; the only way I've been able to get an
overview of Petersen's recordings (which were numerous) is the following:

Go to
https://www.statsbiblioteket.dk/webpac3a/wgbroker.exe?2009050410563508331792+-access+TOP.vegamusic_dan0

Write in:
Pedersen Teddy
(in the top box - under "Fritekst")

Mark:
Plade
(under "Vaelg én materialtype")

Scroll down to the bottom and mark:
efter år
(under "Sortér" - it's the last circle)

This, at least, gives you the sound library's 601 items with Petersen as
musician or composer, chronologically ordered. The first 128 posts are
without known dates, from then on you can follow his output of 78's year by
year from 1928.
