This mark seems to be an indication the master came from what HAD
been the west-coast Columbia operation until mid-1934! Capitol discs
from this source also use the "alphabet/numerals" used for west-coast
Columbias...! The death of Ross Brethour, who was our "resident
expert" on such issues, has deprived us of a reliable source in this
area (and I NEVER asked him to write down these details...MY error!)

Sparton-pressed Columbia C-* records were AFAIK pressed from
Columbia/Okeh/Vocalion stampers...these have NOTHING to do
with either later Sparton discs or Canadian Capitols...?!
