Has anyone here any data or details on the source and original date of
this recording? It's not on the EDVR site, only the A side ('The flag
that never comes down' sung by 'Edward Hamilton', actually Reinald
Werrenrath) is listed and detailed.
The take number on the B side is the dreaded S/8 indicating an
acoustic dub; the catalogue number has the crown symbol next to the
letter B as was standard practice then with UK-sourced items. While
the label states 'Descriptive' (without artiste credit) it does not
state 'Recorded in Europe' either.
