I always used to use a VERY large (and thus very heavy...!) hex nut I found
laying on my street! I suspect (but never verified) it had served as a "lug
nut"
on a large "semi-truck" until it fell off...! In any case, the weight held
the record
on the TT...!! (and the hole allowed for the centre spindle...!)
