OK, now the brain cells are kicking in. The Bob Crewe Generation had the hit on this in early '67, so spring appears to be about right for the commercial. The song peaked at #15 in Billboard on 2/11/67.

It was definitely around in 1966..just not sure if it was early in the year or 
if Spring 1967 is more likely. "Music To Watch Girls By" is the one I'm talking 
about.
