Yes, it's a typo - should be Ge 4994-B.
On Gennett products the take letter follows the matrix number in every 
case I've ever seen. I am not sure what other letters (or numbers) in 
various runout locations are about. Could yours mean what side of the 
record it is? The mother #? Stamper #? I don't know.
