[78-L] Harlem Hamfats

As I was driving in the Rio Grande Valley Thursday my ipod shuffled to a Harlem Hamfats song and my brain said, "Wait! These guys were based in Chicago.  The post earlier this week that talked about them playing waltzes in NYC does not compute."  

This is a good example of my brain's current reaction time and also of my brain's clumsy syntax.

Would whoever posted the Harlem Hamfats info please provide other details?   They did record in NYC but I don't know that they were ever based there.
