[78-L] Phil Spector verdict imminent

He's a rebel, and he'll never ever be any good!

Spector's violent streak goes back all the way to the '60s, when he produced
stuff like "He Hit Me (and It Felt Like a Kiss)."

Spector was drunkenly waving a pistol around in the recording studio during the 1974 "Rock 'n' Roll" sessions with John Lennon, which caused Lennon to
abruptly cancel the project.  He resumed it a year later, producing himself.

They always say there's a fine line between genius and insanity.  Mr. Spector
crossed it.
