Not quite a social disease--but Lena Wilson's "What's Your Price?" (Col 14618-D,
17 Jul. 1931) is full of spectacular double entendres regarding items in a grocery
store, and one of the lines is "I know you got crabs 'cause your husband told
me so", or something like that.
