I just watched the documentary about Florence Foster Jenkins this 
evening and it disclosed that SHE had VD!!  Yes, Flo Jo got a case of 
syph from her old man, Dr. Jenkins, and had to take a mercury cure which 
possibly rendered her bald (and possibly tone deaf, if not deaf.) 

Well, this thread IS about singers who cause me pain.
