Mainly, One-Step, Two-Step and the brand-new "Fox Trot!" 
Traditional folk dances (like most of what you list above...!)
were starting to disappear! These days, this has further
diminished to "slow dance" (the two partners clutching one
another desperately while slowly swaying back & forth?!)
or "fast dancing" (basically, ANYTHING goes...?!?)
