"collectors" were, that long ago, primarily collecting vintage
operatic vocals...primarily because they were becoming aware
that there was NO guarantee how long these records would
remain available...?!

The collecting of "jazz records" started a couple of decades
later (more or less)...and the collection of Grey Gull discs
had to wait for (first) my birth (10/22/42) and (second)
the birth of my GG fascination...?!

And I am still awaiting (with my eyes on the EXITS?!) the
emergence of the "I want EVERY copy of "Doggie In the
Window!!!" collector (who will arrive in one of his 3,732
original Ford Pintos...?!)
