[78-L] Glenn Miller interview?

It's not on the UK HMV civilian band Limited Editions issues which I have
nor the Victor AAF box set or any other LP's I've seen. I first heard it
late '60's/early '70's on Alan Dell's BBC Radio big band programme and it
wouldn't surprise me if that was the original source of many, if not all the
copies which have now popped up. On his programme Dell often played Miller
AAF/AEF material which were not, at the time, commercially available but
invariably ruined them for the tapers by talking over much of the track. He
did that with the AEF/Anne Shelton track of "I'll Get By" and faded it out
before the end . It wasn't until the other day that I heard the complete
uninterupted track (and broadcast) for the first time on that tuxjunction
website. However, IIRC, Dell did not spoil the interview recording when he
broadcast it. I probably still have the tape of that particular Dell
programme, but where ??????

Thanks, fellas. That site is interesting reading, and, yes, that is the same
interview I got off the radio in 1970. I remain curious what the source may
have been in 1970 - was that on a commercial Miller LP, one of those box
sets maybe?

Rodger & Al,

Don't know why I didn't think of it before, there's a 'good' copy on
YouTube.

The interviewer was Vernon Harris for a (BBC ?) programme called Wishing
Well.
The emphasis on the names "Jeff", "Rodney" and "Rocky" makes me wonder if
these were code words for the Resistance.
