The dub was apparently because the recording started too close to the edge of 
the disc, so we're told, and yes it is one of the worst ever..sounds almost 
acoustical. But I'd seen an undubbed version in the 70s (I may even own it, 
since it was in a collection I acquired 3 years ago but haven't finished going 
through) and Artur Rodzinski had a copy, which I transferred when his son let 
me go through his records and lacquers in 1996.
