[78-L] Fwd: Kitty O'Connor

You might be thinking of Lee Morse, who did make a few records for Bluebird in 1933...
Kitty O'Connor recorded only for Columbia, from 1925-28. Gosh, I'd love to find out more 
about her. O'Connor's voice does take some getting used to, but I think she's pretty good. 
She appeared in a hit Broadway musical in the 1927-28 season, "Take the Air", but doesn't
seem to have made a lasting impact, and I haven't learned anything of her activites after
that point. Her records don't turn up every day, but they don't seem to be super-rare, either.
Has anyone seen a photo of her from the Columbia catalogues?
 
Speaking of Lee Morse, her Decca/Coral sides from 1950 demonstrate an even deeper
voice than in her peak years. She has some devoted fans, and a website:
