[78-L] Moonlight in Vermont

MIV isn't so significant regarding "free verse" as is the fact that it is written in pure Haiku form...

Speaking of the song...and forgive me if I've asked/pointed this out 
before...but are there any other popular tunes pre-1960 with "free verse" 
lyrics?  There are no rhyming couplets in Moonlight in Vermont,  although 
it sure is poetry to my ears.
