This Melotone was the one that recorded Florence Foster Jenkins and which 
provided recording services for vanity pressings as well as some commercial 
issues such as a Richard Dyer-Bennet set on Stinson (recorded with
Melotone's 
usual incompetence, a wide margin and running onto the label). FloJay's
highest 
number is 194 and she died in late 1944, if this helps.
