I'm sure it was in use later. The first disc I ever saw the "Light Ray"
designation on was in my dad's collection, Mishel Piastro playing "Hymn to The
Sun, recorded September 1926. Brunswick 10269.

What system was Compo using? Good enough for Pathe to have them do their
electricals for the first year, for one thing.
