And I read somewhere that the last cut on Bing Crosby's final LP was Irving
Berlin's "When I Leave The World Behind."  Could this have been his last
recorded song?

On April 2, 1941 Al Bowlly recorded his last side before being killed in an
air raid on April 17, 1941.
It was "When That Man Is Dead And Gone"  HMV BD-922
 
On October 29, 1929, the day of the Wall Street market crash Eddie Cantor
recorded
