Any chance of getting a scan of the ad, Mike? I'd like to see what model
Victor it is. I'm guessing it is a P.

Subject: [78-L] 1907 Royal Sewing Machine promo record

Does anybody have, or know of, a record made in 1907 that would be a
store promotional record about the New Royal Sewing Machine. Today at
the monthly collectibles market I got a 1907 mailer from the Illinois
Sewing Machine Co, Chicago, with a large picture of a front mount Victor
that would be given for free to sewing machine dealers who ordered and
payed for six Royal sewing machines at $19 ea. Along with the free
Victor phonograph would come "three musical records" and "one special
record giving a talk on the New Royal". A Victor label is shown on the
top record of the four, but since we don't see the other labels there is
no way of knowing if the special record was actually a Victor or some
other label. Anybody know?
