Hi!
I'm just transferring dome George Formby SENIOR records. However,
Geroge Formby JUNIOR (the one who played ukulele) re-made his
father's song 'John Willie, Come On' as just about his first
published recording. The original version was 1908 and the re-make by
his son, 1926. The spooky thing, however, is that they sound as if
recorded by the same man! George Formby Sr. died in 1921.
