[78-L] Recording in Reverse

Hallo,
It was proposed to me some time ago that it could be useful to record 78s (or LPs) in reverse, and perform declicking before re-reversing the file. The idea is to minimize the false detection of sharp musical transients as clicks. With the proliferation of DJ record decks there is now no problem in turning the record in reverse, though there is still the challenge of arranging the arm and pickup cartridge appropriately. Have any members experimented with this idea?
