This wasn't a 78, but it's too good to pass up. Punk pioneer Iggy Pop made an LP in the 70s called "Lust For Life" (you've heard the title track on a Carnival Cruise commercial), and one of the songs, "Some Weird Sin" has a spot where a skip in exactly the right place makes him sing the line "Trying to break through / trying to break through / trying to break through / trying to break through" over and over for as long as you can stand to listen to it. We'd play that for an hour sometimes, if we were trying to clear out a party or something.
