...and I prefer Voltaire as he left out the fancy stuff you need lots of faith not to laugh about - he spoke as a human among humans, without asking first in which pot of holy water his opponent had been dipped or not, and without threatening eternal damnation to anyone who chooses not to follow his ideas (like, sadly, certain other guys with otherwise laudable ideas did and still do).
