I believe this was the first Johnny Mercer composition (but not the 
first recording--there are two versions on Brunswick, which appear to be 
predate this, both featuring Irving Kaufman) to be recorded. Rust's Jazz 
Records 3 lists vocalist as Smith Ballew, but corrects this in ADBD to 
Scrappy Lambert.
