[78-L] Blues on the radio

In the 1960s and 70s American Jazz and Blues collectors were aware that the rarer Columbia 14000s in this Race Series (the higher numbers) could be found in French collections - often 'mint'. Because in the late 1930's Columbia had dumped their unsold 78s here in France for clearances. 
 
Buyers of these records must have known what kind of music it was, even though they never may have heard of the musicians before.
