[78-L] Question on Texas Jim Lewis recordings

My standard call for, HELP.




Texas Jim Lewis recorded for the Aladdin label as Tex Russell and His Hollywood Cowboys. 

Dick Heil who played with Jim's later bands wrote me Jim made the recordings, but had 

no copies of his Aladdin recordings. His brother, Jack Rivers released a on Aladdin, too. 

I suspect they used the same band, as Jack is playing lead guitar on the one song I've 

heard (What It Means to be Blue), and recorded "Texas Torando, under his own name." 




Jim Lewis's middle name was Russell. I found three releases and two others of interest. 

Does anyone have copies of these recordings, or know if the Aladdin releases by a Jimmy Lewis 

might also be Texas Jim Lewis. Dick hadn't heard of theJimmy Lewis releases.
