   Hello, I do not really know what forum would be most apropos to ask about this item, but here I go...

  I am studying French trumpeters for some research and how did this CD pass by me, I really don't know (and I was in France twice in the 90's to boot),I have the vaguest! I see a lot of Pierre Allier I need on this (and 2 more titles that was Swing 25 from the Fletcher Allen date that has Allier and Ray Stokes were issued under Pierre's name), guess one learns more every day (LOL),feel free to contact me off list for any leads in this matter 
all the best and a very happy new year (listening to Allier on a crazed "swinging the blues" super fast with a TUBA in 1940, dites-moi pourquoi * ?)
