"Deep Elm Blues" by the Lone Star Cowboys was reissued on Old Timey
LP-102. and according to the Country Music Records discography by Tony
Russell recorded Aug 4, 1933.

Quote from the LP:

The Lone Star Cowboys are of course from Texas, and "Deep Elm" refers to
Elm Street in Dallas, a wide open section where you could get anything.
The song has become a standard and was later recorded by the Shelton
Brothers.
