[78-L] Deep Ellum Blues

Hm... don't know, I'd have to hear it to make sure.  Apparerently there's a 'traditional' lyric, and another one written by Texas Bill Day, as noted on a page on the Dallas Historical Society site:

The Decca recording I have is the 'traditional' version, but I doubt that the 'traditional' credit is accurate... 
mostly because the verse patterns don't match...

I do also see that "Deep Elm" and "Deep Ellum" were intermixed occasionally as titles...
