Week ago Friday I was shovelin' my dear wife out; her car got stuck twice in a hundred feet -- in the apartment complex driveway here!

Today it's 48F, and the office sound system is blaring 1942 Benny Goodman tracks (courtesy of Mosaic). "Christmas With The Big Bands" (Sony A 17817) follows later.
